Design requires creativity and aesthetic sense. It isn't as easy as it seems. Your products may be ridiculous or terrible if you don't have these skills. After seeing these horrible designs, you will be convinced. These designs can be found all over the place. Likely, you won't notice it until someone else does. Then It's impossible to ignore.

If you are interested in a career in design, I would recommend enrolling in a program that provides it. You can at least find out early on if it's something you are good at before you ruin everything.
