South Korea is a country that's well-known for its high technology, skyscrapers, and delicious food. It also has honorable traditions. Visitors rarely see the other side of South Korea, like "Goshiwon" and "Goshitel". These are cramped, inexpensive, and small accommodations that South Korea's poor call home.
Sim Kyu-dong, a South Korean photographer, lived in Seoul's Goshiwon for around five years. He moved there to work and documented the lives of the poor with his camera.
