The US Reports 200,000 Coronavirus Cases As Of Now!

According to CNN, over 210,000 people within the US are infected and 4,703 have died, and there are 900 reported ‘fatal’. The deadly coronavirus took a life of a 6 week old in Connecticut, Gov.Ned Lamont said.️

World Health Organization keeps advising to keep your mouth covered if you’re a patient or health worker!

Deadly as it is seen already, some new data shows that some people won’t even show symptoms of the infection. Iceland shows 50% of those who tested positive said they were asymptomatic. In the US, an estimated 25% of coronavirus carriers have had no symptoms, said the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

To make things worse, medical supplies are running out when it’s of utmost importance. Because of the widespread use of masks, healthcare workers do not have enough. Because of this shortage, many doctors and nurses are contracting the virus, and already a few have died because of the virus. They’re risking their lives by engaging at the battlefront, only to provide care for the general public. In an attempt to help however they can, JOANN Fabrics and Craft Stores released a video tutorial about the ways of making face masks.

However, the only action that helps in decreasing the spread of the virus is social distancing. Health officials say that social distancing efforts are working out, including in Washington State’s King County — the country’s first coronavirus epicenter. 90% of the US population now lives in quarantined areas, because this virus is more dangerous than we thought. Florida has the highest number of residents, counting 21 million. Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order requesting individuals in Florida to limit their movements. The order takes effect on early Friday. Orders are given by the authorities for the police to arrest and fine people that violate social distancing.

However, social distancing has had a good effect on New York. There has been a serious decrease in cases from 58% to 17% during seven days. Some of the researchers estimate that by the top of March 31, “interventions across all 11 countries will have averted 59,000 deaths.”
