
The quarantine period can make us do crazy things. We can also do gardening. Did you know that gardening is also a good relaxation for our minds? I think it’s perfect for the situation we are currently undergoing too. We have been given the time and chance to harvest our own chemical-free vegetables at the comfort of our own home. No more worrying about rushing to the supermarket! Grab the supplies you currently have at home and let’s start increasing our stock!
Let’s regrow your favorite veggies!
#1 Garlic
Things you need:
1. A spot in your home with full exposure to the sunlight
2. Small cup or a bowl
3 Water
Directions:
1. Chop of the stalk from the bulb ( the pointy thingy on top of the bulb, it helps to absorb the sunlight causing it to grow into large juicy bulbs)
2. Place the bulb in the container and fill it with water.
3. Place it near a good spot where the bulb would receive a good portion of sunlight
4. Change the water every other day
And you are done! See it wasn’t that hard. Now all you gotta do is wait for the greens and bulbs to emerge. Now you have an endless supply of garlic.
#2 Green Cabbage
Things you need:
1. Bowl
2. Water
3. Sunlight
Directions:
1. Take a leftover leaf and place it on the
2. Put some water into it. Don’t fill the bowl with water, just a small amount is fine.
3. Keep it in the sunlight.
4. Change the water once in a while and most the leaf.
5. Once you start to see roots and new leaves emerge, transplant it to the garden. ( or a soil-filled container)
6. Nourish it with water and wait, you will see a fresh cabbage in your garden. Harvest only after it’s fully grown and continue to grow again from a new leaf for an endless supply of cabbage.
#3. Scallions
Things you need:
1. A container that’s filled with soil
2. Water
3. Sunlight
Directions:
1. Cut off the last top inch of the scallion, keeping only the roots and bulb.
2. Plant the ends of the scallions in the soil with the top of the bulb sticking above the soil.
3. Water regularly.
4. You can then see the greens emerge from the bulb, you can cut them off and see them grow again.
#4. Carrots and Carrot Leaves
Things you need:
1. Bowl
2. Water
3. Sun
Directions:
1. Cut off the top two inches of the carrot.
2. Place the cut side down of the carrot in the container.
3. Fill the container with one inch of water so that half of the carrot is filled with water.
4. Place the container in the sunlight.
5. Change the water once every day.
6. Once you see the green sprouts shoots from the top it’s time to transfer it to a soiled container.
7. Plant it, make sure not to cover the sprouts with the soil.
8. And tada! You will eventually with proper watering, carrot leaves, and carrot!
#5. Ginger
Things you need:
1. Soiled container
2. Cup
3. Sunlight
Directions
1. Soak your ginger overnight.
2. Cut it into pieces, make sure there are little bumps on each piece, they are the growing buds.
3. Plant the ginger with the buds facing to aside, do not plant them face down.
4. Water the ginger without making the soil soggy.
5. Harvest only the portion you need and leave the rest to continue its growth.

#6. Celery
Things you need:
1. Wide-mouthed container
2. Sunlight
3. Water
Directions:
1. Cut off the top of the celery evenly
2. Rinse it well.
3. Place toothpicks as shown in the image above to balance it in accordance with the container you have at home.
4. Fill water and leave it like that for a week.
5. Change the water every other day.
6. Use a spray bottle to mist the top of the celery.
7. You will begin to see dark green leaves energy from the top.
8. Transfer it to the soiled container, leaving the green sprouts untouched.
9. Water it and eventually you will see a bulbous amount of celery leaves, harvest when fully grown and continue the process.
#7 Romaine or Cos Lettuce
Things you need:
1. Wide-mouthed container
2. Sunlight
3. Water
Directions:
1. Cut off the top of the lettuce evenly
2. Rinse it well.
3. Place toothpicks as shown in the image above in celery, to balance it in accordance with the container you have at home.
4. Fill water and leave it like that for a week.
5. Change the water every other day.
6. Use a spray bottle to mist the top of the lettuce.
7. You will begin to see dark green leaves energy from the top.
8. Transfer it to the soiled container, leaving the green sprouts untouched.
9. Water it and eventually you will see a bulbous amount of lettuce eaves, harvest when fully grown and continue the process.
#8.Chili Peppers
Things you need:
1. Pepper seeds
2. Soiled container
Directions:
1. Plants the seeds in the soil.
2. Water it every other day and place it in the sunlight.
3. Harvest when fully grown.
4. Repeat process with the seeds.
#9. Mushrooms
This is very easy:
1. Remove the cap of the mushroom.
2. Plant the stalk of the mushroom on a well-aired soil.
3. Water it and Harvest when it’s fully grown.
#10. Potatoes
1. Cut the potato(s) into two pieces,
2. Make sure every half has at least one to two eyes.
3. Let the pieces sit at room temperature for a couple of days until they’re dry to the touch.
4. When the potato parts are dry, plant them around one foot separated in 8 inches of soil.
5. At the point when they’re completely developed, potatoes can be reaped for a while.
