Due to this pandemic, we are all going through a very rough time. So many questions flood our minds on a daily basis with regards to when we will ever get back to our ordinary life. We do things to suppress or forget the presence of a lockdown. It can be many things that are wholesome and fun, like baking, or dancing with your family, indoor games, etc.

However, we bring to you a very unusual story that comes from Sydney, Australia. Meet Frank Angeletta, the owner of Five Dock Dining restaurant. He too, just like us, is undergoing through the same fears of whether the world would get back to normal.

He, however, is dealing with it in the most… well..a bit creepy way, to be honest. It might be coming from a very good place in his heart, but personally, it just gives me a flashback of the famous movie “Wax House”, Yikes!

Here’s why!

He prints out cardboard cutouts of customers and places them on the chairs of the dining tables in the restaurant. He fills out his restaurant with the cardboard cutouts. Not only that, but he had also taped background noise simulating guest “chatter” playing for ambiance.

By adding the cutouts and playing chatter through the speaker, Angeletta hopes his customers will feel like they’re having the typical dining experience.

“Hopefully it pays off,” Angeletta told 7News Sydney, a local television station.

My heart truly goes out for him, hopefully, everything will get back to normal buddy!
